11th Annual Preston D. Miller, Sr. and Cora S. Miller Lecture

8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. April 08, 2017

"F O F F ..." Flossing, Oral Fluids, Fluoride, and ...
Presented by  Dr. Brian B. Nový

Flossing, Oral Fluids, Fluoride and other topics concerning evidence-based cariology create the perfect lens to examine how CAMBRA (CAries Management By Risk Assessment) has the ability to transform the practice of dentistry into oral health care. Caries risk assessment is much more than a form and incorporates patient-centered engagement techniques while also changing behavior. This course will introduce new anti-caries therapeutics to clinicians seeking to re-examine and embrace the dogma of preventive dentistry.

Whether you are a dental professional in active practice or a retired alumnus who wishes to stay current, you will enjoy this opportunity to learn, interact and connect with the dental school. Registration fee includes CE program, materials and continental breakfast. Registration for the CE course is separate from Reunion registration.

Cost is $80 for dentists and $40 for dental hygienists and dental assistants. Register online for the CE course. For more details, contact Pamela Flynn at (804) 828-0869 or dentistryce@vcu.edu.
