Under the direction of several administrators including Earl Wheatfall, Ph.D., Quincy Moore, Ph.D.,and Xochela James, Ph.D. Mrs. Day has worked with the VCU Trio Program which transitioned to Educational Support Programs and then transitioned to College Success Program for over 25 years.

During the many transitions in university academic advising, Mrs. Day was always there to support our students and provide the necessary guidance that impacted so many alumni, particularly those active in the VCU Alumni African-American Alumni Council.
