VCU Libraries Community Zooms: Resiliency Gardens - Making a Difference Through Urban Farming

10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Dec. 03, 2020

Duron Chavis, founder and director of Happily Natural Day and a member of the Friends of VCU Libraries board, has transformed the asphalt parking lot beside the Institute for Contemporary Art into a resiliency garden. The garden is intended to help create a culture of urban farming and inspire city residents to make positive environmental and social change. In this session of VCU Libraries Community Zooms, Chavis discusses the vision for his project.

Attendees may join via Zoom. To receive a link to join the sessions, or for questions or accommodations, email the VCU Libraries Development Office at libdevelop@vcu.edu.
