VCU Presidential Symposium on Cancer

9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Nov. 01, 2014

On Saturday, Nov. 1, Massey will host, along with President Michael Rao, Ph.D., the rescheduled VCU Presidential Symposium on Cancer and invite cancer-care providers from across Virginia to engage in a discussion about how to care for patients with some of the most difficult-to-treat cancers. The symposium will feature keynote addresses from David Ryan, M.D., and Richard Stone, M.D., both leading clinical oncologists at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Massey experts will lead the morning session on solid tumors as well as the afternoon session on hematologic malignancies. In addition, there will be opportunities to network with attendees during round-table discussions held over the lunch break.

This event will bring together our statewide community to showcase the exceptional research, quality care, breadth of clinical trials and leading expertise that make Massey Virginia's cancer resource. This is an excellent opportunity to foster relationships that could lead to increased referrals and new research partnerships, and I encourage all of our physicians, nurses and researchers to attend.

Please visit www.CancerSymposium.vcu.edu for more information about the symposium and to register. CME and CEU credits are available for clinicians.
