Legacy Lecture in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing – “Assessing, Prescribing, and Examining the Evidence through a Forensic Lens”

 

The 5th Legacy Lectureship in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing will be presented in the Younger Auditorium of Sadie Heath Cabaniss Hall, VCU School of Nursing by Carrie M. Carretta, Ph.D., APN, AHN-BC.

Carretta is nationally board certified as both a family psychiatric nurse practitioner, and an advanced holistic nurse. She completed her Ph.D. at Vanderbilt University, and possesses bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Carretta is currently an assistant professor and research faculty member at Rutgers. Her research encompasses forensics, specifically behavioral analysis, homicide/suicide, and cold case homicide and missing persons, as well as internet sex crimes, psychopathy, rape and general trauma, and violence and abuse.

One hour of CEU’s is available to participants.
