Ferris Olin, professor of Women's and Gender Studies and founding co-director of the Rutgers Institute for Woman and Art at Rutgers University, gives the keynote address at the Religion and Art conference at VCU.
Her talk, co-sponsored by the Humanities Research Center and the VCU School of World Studies, will focus on her role and experiences in putting together a series of exhibits and events about female artists in the Middle East, "The Fertile Crescent: Gender, Art and Society."
