School of Social Work SSWR/Wurtzel reception
7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Jan. 15, 2016
The Society for Social Work and Research is a free-standing organization dedicated to the advancement of social work research. SSWR works collaboratively with a number of other organizations that are committed to improving support for research among social workers. The VCU School of Social Work is a main sponsor of this event and is pleased to support both senior and junior faculty, as well as several alumni in the academy. This conference is the premier vehicle for the dissemination of social work research.
To introduce our newly named Wurtzel Chair, Denise Burnette, Ph.D., we are hosting an event for B.S.W., M.S.W. and Ph.D. alumni who’ve made gifts of $500 cumulatively in a 50-mile radius of Washington D.C. After an hour, the reception will open up to SSWR attendees.
