The College of Health Professions and the schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy are hosting reunions.

Who is invited?
Five-year classes are invited to attend as well as those who graduated more than 50 years ago. In 2021, classes ending in 6 or 1 are invited. Some schools might choose to invite additional classess to certain events.

Why should I attend my class reunion?
You will see old friends and classmates, hear from faculty, explore new buildings, learn about campus changes and see the city of Richmond at one of the most beautiful times of year.

When does registration open?
Registration opens in January 2021.

How do I register to attend?
Look for your invitation in the mail in early January 2021.

What are the costs to attend?
This depends on the events you are interested in attending. Some activities have no charge. Others, such as dinners or parties, charge $40 or more.

How can I find out who from my class is attending?
Registrants will be listed online closer to Reunion Weekend.

What is appropriate attire for the weekend?
Dress is generally casual for the weekend. For dinners, receptions, the Grand Alumni Brunch, etc., coat and tie or sports coats are recommended. April in Richmond tends to be warm during the day and chilly in the evening.

What is your cancellation policy?
No refunds will be issued after April 2, 2021.

What are my hotel options? Is there a host hotel?
The Omni Richmond Hotel serves as Reunion headquarters. Reserve your room online or by calling (804) 344-7000. When making your reservation, identify yourself as an MCV Campus Reunion attendee to receive the special rate of $187 per night.

Other hotels are nearby, but they do not offer group rates or free Reunion transportation. Please contact the hotels directly for the best available rates.

What is the cut-off date for booking my hotel room at the Omni?
March 5

I am interested in booking a suite at the Omni so I can host some of my classmates.
Please contact Lauren Leavy (Cert.’19/GPA), senior coordinator of alumni engagement events, at (804) 628-2249 or leleavy@vcu.edu. Suites are on hold should anyone from our group wish to reserve them but they must be reserved through the VCU Office of Alumni Relations.

Where will I park during the weekend?
Valet parking is available at the Omni for $25 per day with unlimited in and out privileges. Parking for those attending events on campus is available on Friday, April 16, in the 8th Street Parking Deck and on Saturday, April 17, in the N Deck. Overnight parking is not available on campus.

Is any transportation provided?
Yes, a Reunion shuttle bus runs throughout the weekend beginning at 11 a.m. April 16. The bus departs from the Omni Richmond Hotel and loops through campus approximately every 20 minutes. There are numerous stops on the medical campus for drop off and pick up. Additional transportation will also be provided for specific class parties and Reunion events. Refer to the Reunion registration brochure to find out if transportation is being provided to your event or check at Reunion headquarters.

What if I have special dietary needs? Who should I contact to make arrangements for my meals?
Please contact the Reunion hotline at (804) 628-8015 and indicate which events you will be attending. You will be put in contact with the appropriate individual who is responsible for the event menus.

Are there events for children?
Since there are so few people who bring their children to Reunion, we have not planned any special events or activities for them. Most events are suited for adults only. If you have suggestions on how Reunion can be more family friendly, please email Lauren Leavy (Cert.’19/GPA), senior coordinator of alumni engagement events.

My spouse does not plan to attend my class party with me but is planning to come for the weekend. What is available for him/her to do while I am away?
There are a multitude of activities and sights to see in Richmond, including canal cruises, Segway tours, brewery tours and more (check out everything RVA has to offer!).

How can I make a class gift?
Reunion class pledges and gifts can be made online.

How do I get information about additional questions?
For general questions, call the Reunion hotline at (804) 628-8015.
