Writing a Strength-Based Resume

6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. June 05, 2019

Resumes are a required part of almost any job search, but your resume doesn’t need to list everything you’ve ever done. So, how do you choose what information to include? Katybeth Lee, assistant director for the Center for Corporate Education, shows you how to write a resume that reflects your unique strengths and steer your career into roles that use those strengths to make an impact. By attending this session, participants will be better able to:

  • Identify strengths to highlight on their resumes.
  • Understand how to effectively write a resume.
  • Make changes to their resumes to better connect with positions that use their strengths.

Cost is $50 and includes a boxed dinner, parking and materials. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. VCU alumni save 10% with promo code VCUALUM10. Register online.
