Ask Me Anything: Let’s Talk Race, Diversity and Inclusion

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Aug. 20, 2020

As conversations about diversity, equity and inclusion remain top of mind in America, addressing these issues has become increasingly important. Join the VCU Office of Alumni Relations for this webinar featuring Janice Gassam, Ph.D. (B.S.’09/H&S). This session is designed to create a safe space for an open forum where you are encouraged to submit candid questions that you’ve wanted to know regarding diversity, inclusion, race, allyship and how to support people of color. Although one person is not representative of an entire community/race, having this open dialogue about race can help bridge gaps of misunderstanding and help to create a more equitable and inclusive society. You can submit your questions anonymously.

Register for the Zoom link. The first 50 registrants will receive a complimentary copy of Gassam's bestselling book, “Dirty Diversity: A Practical Guide to Foster an Equitable and Inclusive Workplace for All.”
