About the speaker
Bethann Kassman, D.B.A., is a business angel investor and, until recently, a professor of marketing and entrepreneurship in Switzerland and the UK. Following a successful executive career in the U.S., she has been employed as a consultant focusing on global expansion issues, strategy, competitive marketing and acquisition strategies for companies located in Europe, Asia and the U.S.
Over the past 15 years, she has owned and invested in a number of companies, both in the States and in Switzerland. She is the co-founder of Go-Beyond AG in Zurich, Switzerland, as well as the co-founder and CEO of Go Beyond Network in Naples, Florida, both angel investment companies. As a business angel, Kassman serves on a number of selection and investment committees in Europe and the U.S. She is the chairman of the board of Go Beyond Investing in Switzerland, on the Portfolia advisory board and on the NextWave Foundation board, both in the U.S. She serves as a deal leader in four micro-funds for Portfolia, is a frequent speaker at Angel Capital Association and recently was named as one of the top entrepreneurial women investors of 2018 (Bridging the Global World of Investing award).
She has a B.S. in psychology from Iowa State University, a master’s degree from VCU and a D.B.A. from Business School Lausanne, Switzerland.
