Join Heidi Rugg (B.I.S.’21/UC) from Barefoot Puppet Theatre to for a workshop designed for ages 5-105. Learn the skills of puppetry and ways to make puppets with minimal supplies. Plus, learn how to manipulate your puppet as we walk “across the stage,” take an elevator and defy gravity. The event is free.

For registrants who wish to “build along,” you should have the following on hand:

• Scissors, tape, glue stick
• One roll of masking tape OR a bowl that is about 5 inches in diameter (for tracing a circle)
• Paper tube (like from paper towel or TP)
• Construction paper or card stock, about three sheets in the same color plus one sheet in another, contrasting color (fun colors encouraged!)
• One sheet of white paper
• Dark marker/Sharpie
