Paint the Town Green

Alumni volunteers are needed to help Paint the Town Green on Saturday, Nov. 2. The community outreach will start at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3 p.m. Volunteers are asked to arrive at starting time so resources can be allocated most effectively and to ensure a successful completion. Paint the Town Green is a community outreach effort managed by VCU School of Business service-learning students to strengthen the relationships between students, residents in the Richmond community, and local businesses while beautifying area neighborhoods.
The activities for neighborhood beautification will include: litter pick-up, raking, light trimming and pruning, and a potential special project for each neighborhood of Carver, Oregon Hill and Randolph. Volunteers should meet at Monroe Park at 8:30 a.m.
