Join VCU’s Shaka Smart and UR’s Chris Mooney on April 17 as they support the Positive Vibe Café Foundation. Coach Smart and Coach Mooney will participate in a culinary battle for the ages, to support the mission of the Positive Vibe Café and Foundation — to provide training in all aspects of food service to people with physical and cognitive disabilities, giving them the skills they need to find employment in our community. Adding to the luster of the evening, Coach Smart will be “culinarily coached” by Walter Bundy, executive chef of Lemaire at The Jefferson, while Coach Mooney will be “gastronomically guided” by Glenn Pruden, executive chef at University of Richmond. The event costs $100 per person or $150 for two people.
