VCU hosts Lavender Graduation, a special graduation ceremony that honors the achievements of graduating gender and sexual minority students and their allies on campus.

All students who participate receive a rainbow cord to wear with their academic regalia during commencement activities and are invited to join an LGBT and Allies VCU Alumni Chapter.

To participate, you must register by April 13. No fee to attend and you can bring three guests. Presentation takes place in Harris Hall Auditorium and the reception takes place at Academic Learning Commons Lobby.
