Cuba in Transitions: Perspectives on a Hispanic Caribbean Society

An examinatin of various critical turning points in Cuban history from the Spanish conquest in 1511 to the present. Specific areas of exploration will include but not be limited to: slavery, race, gender, politics, Cuba-US relations and the Cuban economy.
