Welcome to VCU Golden Alumni — a community that connects Richmond Professional Institute, Medical College of Virginia and VCU alumni who graduated at least 50 years ago. We encourage you to become involved in the life of your alma mater and connect with fellow Golden graduates through a variety of events and programs organized throughout the year.

Golden Alumni building tours
April 19
Enjoy a tour of Special Collections and Archives at James Branch Cabell Library and the W.E. Singleton Center for the Performing Arts. At the library, view rare art books and selections from the comic arts collection, following a stop at the Singleton Center, where you can get an up-close, behind-the-scenes look at performing arts students preparing for opening night of “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical.”

Enjoy Theatre VCU’s performance of “Disney’s Descendants: The Musical,” a new musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters and hit songs from the films.

VCU Commencement

50-year graduates are invited to participate in the VCU Commencement program at the Richmond Convention Center. All graduates from 1974 and earlier will be seated together and recognized.
